World Health Day 2026 was observed on 7th April with a meaningful workshop on the theme “Together for Health, Stand with Science”, organized by IQAC - HIM in association with IIC - HIM. All first-year students from every department attended the session and actively engaged in discussions on health awareness and scientific responsibility. The workshop featured distinguished speakers - Prof. Amlan Ghosh, Professor & Head, Department of Management Studies, NIT Durgapur; Prof. Saibal Mukherjee, Retired Professor, MBA Department, Jadavpur University; and Dr. Abhimanyu Bishnu, M.S., M.Ch (Oncology), Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute - who shared valuable insights on building a healthier and informed society.
